Initial Consultations - £45 (call out fee)
Mixing your ideas and enthusiasm with the designer’s passion, knowledge and skills, a vision guide for your garden will be created.
- Our designer will take general measurements and photograph your outdoor space.
- You will be asked to fill out a quick questionnaire to organise your ideas.
- Then, with the designer and garden images, your vision will be discussed.
- A vision guide will then be emailed to you within the week.
A vision guide gives you an idea of the different changes you can make to your outdoor space and gives an idea of the costs. This guide is not a design but notes based on the initial discussion.

At gardens123 we offer 3 types of design for different garden needs. An quote for the appropriate type of design work will be highlighted on your emailed vision guide.
1. Garden Makeovers (Concept Designs) - starting from £160
This design process has been created if you have a small garden, balcony or yard and would like to revamp the existing features or add a few additions such as planted pots, new furniture etc.
This is also useful if you are looking to tidy up a garden for a house sale.
This is a concept and therefore it is only a proportioned design. No detail is included such as measurements but it gives you an overview to the suggested changes. You can then create this revamp yourself or if limited on time you can get our contractor to quote.
2. Simple Changes (Layout Designs) - starting from £320
This design process has been created if you have a small garden and just need a contractor to 'do the tricky bits' e.g. paving. The layout design can be sent to our constructor for a build quote.
This design gives you an overview of the changes and has more detail included such as basic measurement. We are happy to pass this design onto our contractors to quote and you can then liaise directly with the construction team as you project manage their build.
If you would like us to gather more than one quote for your convenience our designer can do this for an additional fee (see further information below in additional services).
3. Complex Changes (Scale Plans) - starting from £800
This design process has been created if you have a large garden or more complex ideas which require extra design detailing. The scale plan can be sent to our constructors for build quotes.
This design gives you a detailed plan of the changes and has exact details included such as all measurement and materials. We are happy to pass this design onto our contractors to quote and you can liaise directly with the construction team and project manage their build.
We do however recommend that you arrange for your designer to project co ordinate the full design for you including gathering more than one quote for your piece of mind and coordinating the construction.

Additional Services may include:
Planting Plans from £320 (depending on size and type of area to be planted)
Additional Site Visits £30 an hour (e.g. taking levels, marking out, catch up chat or planting up etc)
Additional Design Detailing £40 an hour (e.g. amending features on the plan etc)
Quote Coordination £150 (inc gathering 3 quotes and a home visit to go through your quotes)
Full Project Coordination £ via quotation (inc quote gathering and construction coordination)
